The Anthem
Club Song
Sung (badly), loudly, after every win.
“
When I was young my father said
Son I have something to say
And what he told me I’ll never forget
Until my dying day
Son, you’ll be a Barnstoneworth boy
And that’s the way to stay
Happy to be a Barnstoneworth boy
Until your dying day.
To the tune (close enough) of Cliff Richard & the Shadows — Bachelor Boy.
